Make Today Count

Hi Everyone

This layout is the layout you do when you don't want to add flowers

Once again I used 49 & Market paper (Sweet Reflections - Singing the Blues paper).

First I ripped the flower off the page and then turned the page around so that ripped part was on the bottom.

In line with the photo I wanted to show the earth tones on the bottom of the page - this was done with corrugated cardboard and lots of hessian.

I gave the page some texture with the wonder stencil from Darkroom Door along with a little stamping of stitching across the back.

Behind the photo I have used Tim Holtz paper to cut strips and die cut shapes.  To finish it all off I added the little badge and some metal shapes like the car and arrow.

Traveling Little Boy Blue

I love making pages for my grandchildren and I use the pages I make to highlight the little rascal my Grandson is growing up to be.
This page I am entering into the July Scrap The Boys Challenge
Go and check out the wonderful blogspot that I found - it has some wonderful inspirational pages
I have used paper from 49 & Market and then sprayed with a pale blue and used a travel stamp to highlight the theme of the page.
The Flowers are also 49 & Market which have been highlighted with a little blue ink.
The accessories I have used all have that the travel theme with the compass, bicycle and little car.
This has been a joy to make and came together very easy - I think it is mainly because of the inspiration in the photo.

Friends Forever

Hi Everyone

With Mother's Day on my mind I thought I would put together a page representing the love of motherhood.

Although my mother has now passed this photo reminds me of the close friendship we had, and the close friendship I now have with my daughter and I hope that this friendship will continue forward with her child.

For this page I used 49 & Market paper Sweet Reflections pack and I used the Reminiscene paper. which I ripped down one side and turned it around to add more flowers down the side.

Of course no layout wouldn't be complete without lots of lace and a pretty doily.

The flowers I used are a mixture of 49 & Market flowers and Little Birdie - I wanted small ones to just complete the page off.
