Teaching in Toowoomba

I had a busy couple of days getting all the kits ready for the class I took at Toowoomba last Saturday with The Vintage Chicks Club.  The photos show first the filling all the kits of the little pieces of die cuts, straws, ribbon and feathers.  This photo shows all the kits ready to be packed and taken to Toowoomba for the class.

This photo shows each kit presented for the participants of the class - don't forget Easter is just around the corner so a little surprise of Easter eggs and a Chicken helps make the day go sweeter.

We had a wonderful day in Toowoomba last Saturday when I taught a class to a wonderful bunch of ladies. It was all about shabby chic where we made and decorated a box and then decorated a card to go in the box.

This is the beautiful box where the lovely ladies sew taught first how to make the box with a matching lid. How to decorate the sides and the top. We learnt how to make the shabby flowers from scratch  the ladies learnt to distress and ink and all the little secrets to putting the box together.

After the box was completed we moved to decorating the card with the beautiful raised bird cage, a little piece of ribbon and not to forget the muslin.

These are some of the beautiful ladies working their way through the project.

I just wish to thank everyone who attended and I look forward to working for you again in the future.
